Dance instructor Supposedly Slain by DDS Turns Up Alive and Well! 'It was not true I had been killed.'

“It was not true I had been killed.”

Those were the words posted by the dance instructor of Presidential sister Jocelyn Duterte on Facebook. The D.I. was supposedly killed many years ago on orders of then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

In a report made by the Inquirer, Ruben Borja Baguio made it clear that he was alive and well despite the testimony of retired SPO3 Arthur Lascañas.

Lascañas appeared in front of the senate last Monday, reiterating his claim that he headed the Davao Death Squad for President Duterte. He alleges that he, along with other members of the DDS, have killed hundreds of people on Duterte’s orders – including the Presidential sister’s dance instructor.

Lascañas' comments about Baguio may have annoyed the instructor after he was accused of being a gigolo.

He wrote a message to Lascañas and another witness Edgar Matobato asking: “What’s your problem? Put your acts in order! Don’t you have something to say anymore?”

Baguio says that he had been living a regular life before suddenly being involved in the testimony around the DDS.

Baguio wished to clarify to everyone that “it was not true I had been killed.”

“I earn my living decently so please stop the issue,” he added.

As can be seen on his Facebook account, Baguio regularly posts inspirational quotes and religious articles alongside pictures of loved ones.

There are photos of him with Jocelyn and with Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of boxing champion Sen. Manny Pacquiao.

Baguio appears to be a Duterte supporter himself as can be ascertained on his Facebook wall full of pro-Duterte memes and a picture of him doing the Duterte fist symbol during the campaign season.

“From 2007 to present. He is my only DI,” 68-year-old Jocelyn told the Inquirer via phone call.

Lascañas’ testimony states that Baguio was ordered to be executed by then Mayor Duterte because of his illicit gigolo business with Jocelyn. Supposedly, the DDS buried Baguio's body inside the Laud quarry in Maa.

Jocelyn has stated this entire business with Lascañas’ unfounded statements was just another one of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV’s plots against her older brother.

“You’re looking stupid…you’re wasting the people’s money given to you as salary.” Jocelyn said in an earlier statement.
