Arrogant Priest Goes Viral After Refusing To Start Mass Until Disabled Person Kneels

A Catholic priest has gone viral for the wrong reason: his arrogance.

Facebook user Nikki Gonzales shared an unfortunate event that happened during the burial mass for her grandfather in Bacong, Negros Oriental.

According to her, being a Bosconian and Paulinian, she always had high respect for priests, However, all that respect disappeared because of the said priest. Such was her disgust that Gonzales wanted the priest removed from the Church. She called the priest a disgrace to the Church.

Here's what happened:

Gonzales was attending the burial of her late grandfather. Not all of them were Catholics so they decided to just sit at the back. Her grandfather had arthritis on both knees and she had another uncle who was disabled because of diabetes. The old man could not even walk and sit well.

Then, using the microphone, the priest announced that he will not start the mass until everyone is kneeled. The priest then looked at Gonzales' disabled uncles and repeated his order. Her cousin then responded by saying "Can't you see Father they are disabled?" But the arrogant priest replied, "Then you should not have brought them here?"

After the mass, the family approached the priest to ask for an apology. But the arrogant priest refused and even said, "I am a shepherd of this flock and I want you to respect this Church."  Gonzales's cousin then replied "No, Father. What you did was wrong. You knew of my uncle's condition. You are a wolf of the Church and don't see you as a priest anymore. We only see you as a man wearing a sutana."

Gonzales found out later on that the priest has been transferred from Siquijor. He is actually under observation by the Bishop.
