Social media was abuzz with Cristine Reyes' unfortunate injury after Arci Muñoz accidentally kicked her in the face during their dance rehearsal for "I Can Do That".
The actress, who was teary eyed after the incident, sustained a bruise on her eye but insisted she was okay to continue practicing.
While Arci already clarified that there's no bad blood between her and Cristine, the latter's husband, Ali Khatibi still had something to say about the incident.
When asked for a reaction during an interview with the 'Magandang Buhay' hosts, Ali said he was a bit disappointed that he didn't hear about it from his wife herself.
"Hindi pa nga niya ako tinawagan kaagad, medyo nainis nga ako," he said.
"Ang tumawag pa sa akin yung friend ko sa ABS 'Uy nasipa yung mata ni ano.' Pinadalhan ako ng pictures. So I kept calling. Nag-alala ako. Hindi naman siya sumasagot," he added.
The Filipino-Iranian model-MMA fighter finally got hold of Cristine later on and was relieved to hear that his wife was doing fine.
Cristine Reyes butted in with a joke, "Pero nakakatawa, hindi ako sa Jiu Jitsu na-injure."
Ali, who competes in the Philippine-based Universal Reality Combat Championship league, specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The two got married in Balesin last year and now lives a happy life together with their daughter Amarah.
