Presidential grandson 'Stonefish' baptized, Erap among godparents










Presidential grandson Stonefish Carpio is baptized at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Davao City.

DAVAO CITY - President Rodrigo Duterte's youngest grandson, Stonefish, was baptized here Thursday in an intimate ceremony attended only by his family and godparents, including Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada.

Stonefish, whose full name is Marko Digong Carpio, is the 3rd child of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and husband Manases Carpio. He was baptized by Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles.

Aside from Estrada, Stonefish's godfathers included Waldo Carpio, Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, Sebastian Duterte, Cyril Marasigan, Neil Canedo, Jacob Soriano, Charlie Tan, Elijah Manuel Pepito, Joy Lamanosa, Orlando Basilio Jr., Aaron Velasco, Jefry Tupas, and Brian William Uy.

Among his godmothers, meanwhile, were Janette Velasco, Darlyne Rubio, Mayjoy Ramos, Charo Rejuso-Munsayac, and Joyce Domingo-Dapat.

The President missed his godson's baptism at the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Ma-a district.
