Sen. Pacquiao knocks out LP's biggest pig in the senate, Sen. Franklin Drilon.
There has been a change in Senate President Pro Tempore today and all LP committees. Sen. Emmanuel Pacquiao moved for declaration of seat vacant and nominated Sen. Recto with 17 votes. He further declared seats vacant and nominated chairs to 3 Standing Committees.
Health was also declared vacant with Sen JV Estrada taking over from Sen Hontiveros.
Agriculture went to Sen. Cynthia Villar from Sen Kiko Pangilinan.
Education went to Sen. Escudero from Sen. Aquino.
Sen. Pacquiao landed political blows, clearing all LP from being chairs in key committees.
Now we have a clear line in the Senate. Liberal Party has been booted out of the coalition. This is better. No more two-faced supermajority farce.
Meanwhile, Trillanes remains with Minority n heads it subject to reorganization with Drilon, Pangilinan, Hontiveros and Aquino now joining the minority, further subject to final decision of Sen Delima.
