Marcos to be buried at Libingan ng mga Bayani today November 18

MANILA – The remains
of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos will be buried at the Libingan ng mga
Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery) on Friday, a police official said.
The body will be flown
to Manila from Ilocos Norte province and will be interred by noon, said Chief
Superintendent Oscar Albayalde, chief of the National Capital Region Police
Office.
The Supreme Court on
Nov.8 ruled that there was no basis to stop Marcos’ burial at the Libingan ng
mga Bayani, which had been given the greenlight by President Rodrigo Duterte.
